私はこの１５年間に３つの異なる大陸で暮らしてきました。私の作品には、多くの交差する文化が見てとれるでしょう。最近では制作の過程で、メキシカンフォークアート・日本のテレビ・表現派絵画が、制作の過程で画材の選択やイメージ、制作方法にヒントを与えてくれました。完成した絵やオブジェには私が書いた言葉を組み合わせたものがあります。
この言葉は、個々の作品のタイトルになっていることもあれば、作品自体に直接埋め込まれていることもあります。
これらの作品は別個に制作されたものですが、今回の展示において一つの世界を お見せすることでしょう。この世界は、私的な体験へと、また私たちが生きる文化を見つめ直すことへと誘う、幾重もの物語を紡いでいるのです。

Over the last fifteen years, having lived, worked and studied on three different continents it is inevitable many cross-cultural references appear in my work.
Most recently Mexican folk-art, Japanese television and Western Expressionist painting have all provided cues to my choice of materials, imagery and methods of production. The resulting drawings and sculptural objects are often combined with my own written texts. These texts may form the title of an individual piece or may be written, painted or stenciled directly onto the work itself.While each piece was made independently, the way in which they are presented in the gallery allows them to be seen collectively forming non-linear narratives alluding to personal experience, self identity and providing contemporary cultural commentary.
